Sophie Okonedo is a British actress and narrator known for her extensive work across film, television, and theatre. She received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the 2004 film "Hotel Rwanda" and won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for "A Raisin in the Sun" in 2014. Okonedo was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2010 and a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2019 for her services to drama.
