What we collect
We only collect what we actually need:
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address and the date/time you subscribed.
- Contact form: your name, email and the message you send us.
- Analytics: anonymised page-view data (pages visited, referrer, country, device type, approximate session length). We do not see your name or email through analytics.
- Cookies: a session cookie required to make the site work, plus optional analytics cookies if you consent.
- Server logs: standard request logs (IP, user agent, requested URL) kept for security and abuse-prevention for up to 30 days.

- To deliver the newsletter you subscribed to.
- To reply to messages you send via the contact form.
- To measure how the site is used so we can improve content and performance.

If you're in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port the personal data we hold about you, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. California residents can opt out of "sales" or "shares" of personal information — we don't engage in either.

Children
MoviesSavvy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
