Robert Machoian is an American independent filmmaker, photographer, writer, and director known for his character-driven films that often explore intimate stories. His works, including "The Killing of Two Lovers" (2020), "The Integrity of Joseph Chambers" (2022), and as writer for "Omaha" (2025), have premiered at notable film festivals such as Sundance and SXSW. Machoian also serves as an Associate Professor of photography at Brigham Young University.
