Ncuti Gatwa is a Rwandan-Scottish actor known for his roles as Eric Effiong in the Netflix comedy-drama series Sex Education and as the Fifteenth Doctor in the BBC series Doctor Who. Born in Rwanda, he moved to Scotland with his family during the 1994 genocide. He has received critical acclaim and multiple awards for his performances, including a BAFTA Scotland Award and a BAFTA Cymru Award.
