About #Eternal Values
Eternal Values was a New York-based spiritual group, or cult, founded in the early 1980s by Frederick von Mierers. Von Mierers claimed to be an alien "walk-in" from the star Arcturus and recruited successful models and Ivy League students, including Hoyt Richards, with prophecies of a 1999 apocalypse and fraudulent gemstone sales. The group later relocated to North Carolina and largely disbanded around 1999, following von Mierers' death in 1990.
